2017 Alleromb La Gran Flor, Sauvignon Blanc 92 Pts Wine Enthusiast

Tasting notes The aromas here are vivid, with notes of pear, pineapple, citrus, melon and herb. The palate explodes with kiwi, papaya and passion fruit flavors that carry on the finish. Its flatout delicious, showing a captivating sense of richness and texture as well as a lingering finish Sean P. Sullivan Bottle

2017 MorellPena Chardonnay 90 Pts Vinous

Tasting notes Bright lemonyellow. Chablislike scents of lemon drop, mirabelle and fresh apple this wine is from the same site as the Blanc de Blancs. Penetrating, savory Chardonnay with flavors of lemon drop and white peach intensified by strong minerality as much about herbs and spices as primary fruit. Wonderfully silky Stephen Tanzer Bottle

2017 MorellPena Pinot Noir 90 Pts Vinous

Tasting Notes from Solaksen vineyard, the same vines Morell sources for his basic Chardonnay and his sparkling wines Lightmedium red with a pale rim. Lively, varietally expressive aromas and flavors of raspberry, strawberry, sandalwood, nutmeg and rose petal. Supple, very dry and finegrained, showing a lightly saline character and commendable restraint to its red fruit flavors. Theres nothing at all hotclimate about this youthfully laidback Pinot Noir. Finishes with a fine dusting of tannins and very good breadth and length. Impressive in an understated wayStephen Tanzer Bottle

2015 Alleromb Cuvee B 90 Pts Vinous

Tasting Notes Bright redruby. Aromas of dark berries, cranberry and scorched earth display a slightly candied fruit character and enticing brownspice lift. Finegrained, juicy and easy to drink sleek and seamless, without any impression of heaviness. The notes of scorched earth, tar and cocoa powder may come from a Pomerol clone of Merlot that features strongly in this blend. Complicated by captivating Malbec perfume and lifted by a hint of bay leaf. Finishes with essentially soft but building tannins. I suspect this wine will drink best over the next four or five yearsStephen Tanzer Bottle
